SPLM General Secretary Pagan 'safe and well'

6, 07 (NSV)- Reports and rumours have been spiraling that Gen. Pagan is
dead. New Sudan Vision has confirmed in an email by a senior SPLM
member that he and an SPLM delegation had gone to Melut to bury a
female member of Parliament, Mrs. Leila Ajuot who died in a Khartoum
hospital last Thursday.
According
to this senior officer, a car carrying Pagan's bodyguards was involved
in an accident that claimed the lives of two soldiers, said to be his
bodyguards. Meanwhile, Pagan is back in Juba, and contrary to the
reports, "he is safe and well." Two soldiers were injured in the
accident.
