Dr. Lam remains at the people's heart even outside the government.

Dr. Lam being out of the government of national unity did not take any one by surprise, even among the grass roots whom he served and protected during the war in the Collo land. Seven air strips for landing of the aero planes to bring food and medicine to the needy will always be remembered by the marginalized.

 

His work as the minister of transport and the infrastructure build by him in Malakal will also stand to testify for the people in that part of south Sudan. His ability to contain the riots and the lack of loss of human lives in Wau during the black Monday is counted to his side. His contribution as the minister of foreign affairs during the difficult times underwent by the Sudan shines like a candle in the dark.

Collo people are the most conscious politically, otherwise the kingdom would have not survived the political and cultural upheavals since 1545 AD.

For the new self styled heroes who want to assassinate the character of this powerful man shall be smashed by the people will when the time comes for mass judgment at elections.


The SPLM leadership in the person of the chairman of the party had unfortunately under estimated the aspiration of the Collo people as well as the capabilities of one of his resourceful high officials who could further land a hand to his Excellency the chairman of the party in shaping the chaotic situation the party had been landed into by the S/G who is also our son, but an incapable one who excels in talking than working. The SPLM is in dire need of re-organization, registration and proper fair elections at the grassroots. Especially in the south where very very little had been done till now.


Mr. chairman of SPLM it is your right by constitution to remove or reinstate a

member of the party in where ever you see fit. But you are also duty bound to

respect the feelings and the will of your subjects. For example the dismissal of

those Mr.Tilar,Mr.Aleu,Mr.Manoa Aligo and firing of Mr.Timothy Tot for speaking is mind in IPB. Remember the chairman is elected to the throne by proxy i.e. Through his popular members in their communities. Thus to associate your self with the least popular persons in their constituencies is a political suicide. Pagan is unpopular, Deng Alor comes from south Kordufan as well as Luka Biong and Yasir Arman and Monsur Khalid they will bring you no votes because they are northerners.You should have already been told that Dr.Lam was accompanied to the airport by so many people in Malakal after having heard his removal from the government and also received by so many people at the air port in Khartoum. The Collo people were not organized to do so, but it came automatically to send a clear message to:

1.Dr. Lam that the people still stand by you even if you are out of the government.

2.Pagan Amum that if he thinks by so doing he will take over the political leadership in the area, is a fallacy. He had already loss credibility by attempting to rig the party elections in May 2007 and appointing unpopular state secretaries of the party after having failed the elections in their respective counties and act which involved physical show down between the public and the S/G appointees.

3.The chairman of SPLM that people are not bitter for using your powers, but unhappy with improper use of these powers without real convincing reasons against senior members of your party on which the southern masses are counting for democratic transformation that was lacking all those dark years of war and had thought sun democracy had risen by the coming of SPLM.

4.Last but not least, we affirm our support for the SPLM and its chairman Salva Kir Mayardit as a uniting leader of the south and demand of him as his subjects who have the right and tool of keeping him in the chair to listen to the plight of the people of the south in maintaining unity of the party and to consider the re-union of SPLM-family by accepting the appeal of our brothers Aleu and Tilar and revitalize the democratic tools and institutions to rectify and dispute in the party.and God bless you.

    You guys my say I'm wrongi n her but Lam Akol was for real to close the the GOS. Why the hell would he try to mis-reprsent us more by that Pan Arab Flag of the North by standing in the middle of the Arab League come on guys... What do ya call that..

    Dear freinds, it is the right of everybody to talk his mind, but remember you are adressing different people with different careers. Now are we really politically exposed?? do we really know what are the obligations to be a member in a national cabinet where you are not expected to represent yourself, your tribe, your religion, your party or your region. Then what is wrong with somebody whose duty is to represent his country (at whatever capacity he is) to show up in the Arab League or wherever??? Now Deng Alor is doing that at hs capacity as the Minister for the Foriegn Affairs of Sudan (by the way he was in Dakar/Sengal recently reprsenting Sudan in the Muslim States League Meeting and also he was in Demmiscuss/Syria doing the same in the last Arab League meeting). Is that not the representation with full powers and authority we were fighting for?? Or you just want them to be sitting there while others do the job for them in complete breach to their constitutional right and duty... You people let all have the right to write but let us make sense when we write...

    I have learnt that Collo's people will not forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. Dear bro Aban Deng Atur, for the unity of collo on behave of comparing leaderships, crititism, and iam on mr so side among ourselves will not united Collo land even we call back our grand ancients leadership Nyakango, will not normized this sitaution. Forsure, Dr Lam Akol has done is part. what of hungry people who are begging leadership. what is your tasks on comparing who is who?. why do we believe in leaders who make us laugh until you can't stop; and someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world, who convinces us that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it. If you talks on how Dr. Lam Akol his dissappointed by SPLM leadership wel, and good then contrasting. As Ochol i didn't believed that begging games. sometimes in life, we find a special friend; someone who change, your life just by being part of it. if we believed on what is having roots of trust.
