First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I would like to make some responses that were brought up by some of you regarding discussion about Thanksgiving. Brother Emmanuel made a good point and painful one about the suffering our people faces back home in Sudan .? As Emmanuel reminded us in the book of Matthew 6:21 that, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Now we are talking about the real suffering of our Brothers and sisters in Piny Chollo.
For many of us, it is easy to talk about the pain of our people, but it is not easy for us to make real commitment by taking the Action to help our people we are saying about. The good example, three months ago, there was floods disaster in Pothi Chollo that devastated most of pothi Chollo villages where our people today are still in needs for assistant, and we have not done anything. Isn't shameful for all us to talk about the pain of our people are still facing suffering while we the Chollo in general [[MISSING in Diaspora in failed to be responded to the floods disaster that took place in pothi Chollo? If indeed our hearts are where our people are and feels the suffering our people then, why we could not do something about disaster that took place in Piny Chollo?
If we are real concerns about suffering of our people in Pithy Chollo then, it is not too late for us to do the right thing now. I personal challenge Chollo community in the United States for failing to deliver to our people in time of needs. I blame Chollo community as whole in the United States for failing to deliver to our Brothers and sisters in Pothi Chollo who are in desperate needs. I am sure Chollo numbers in the United States have increased and yet Chollo community still facing financial difficulties because Chollo in the United States have failed to make a generous financial contribution commitment in support for the Chollo community. Many of our people back home in Sudan are expecting much from us, because we the Chollo who are in Diaspora have more opportunities which they do not have. I believe we as a community have a moral duty and responsibility to deliver to Brothers and sisters who are in needs.
If we are real proud to be Chollo with dignity, then I suggest and challenge you to prove to our Brothers and sisters who are in desperate needs for our help in the United States by making your generous contribution of $ 50.00 each under slogan "Relief Effort for Pothi Chollo Floods Disaster." If we are really serious concerns and willing to commitment ourselves about the pain we are talking about. You can do so by contacting Fashodo Community Association in the United States Leader Mr. japan or any member of Chollo executive committee that you are willing to make your contribution of $50.00 toward Relief Effort for Pothi Chollo Floods Disaster. I would like to see your response before the end of this week if we are really concerns and serious about the suffering our people, otherwise it is shameful for us to continue discussing the pain our people are facing without making generous financial commitment contribution toward their suffering. Thanks for your concern and your generous gifts for Pothi Chollo floods disaster relief efforts. May God bless you abundantly for your generosity?

Bro. Jwothab, I completely support you in your suggestion. This is such a time when all Collo must put aside their differences, whatsoever, and unite for the common good of their land which has been devastated by floods and heavy rains. Let us rally behind our Fashoda Community Association in the USA, for the sake of unity, and launch this mission as a mandatory task upon all Collo sons and daughters, especially those who are in diaspora.

In the best case scenario the community in USA may raise $300 to $500 and what will that token do to our people. Let us be serious and confess that some loud voices on this forum do not have jobs and need help themselves. Some of these loud voices were homeless at some point and may currently be living on government’s housing program. The community should invest on building the Collo capacity in the US and should send an appeal urging the government of Upper Nile and Pachodo County to provide services for the people affected by floods. I’m just being honest and mean no harm to anybody.
The truth will set us free!

Dear Jwothab Wanh Othow,
Your proposal is worthy to support. But please do not put the total balame on our people in US because they are not the only ones who should be caring for the flood problems facing collo in the Northern part. We need to bulid on that idea and take action measures through our communities in differernt places; not US alone. We have to make sure that the money we are going to contribute will not fall into the hands of wrong people. I will sell this idea to Fashodo Organization in Khartoum and to Collo Community in Nairobi, Juba and Malakal so that they can organize for fundraising with clear and reliable plans of actions for assiatnce. World Food Programme has already dropped some food last weak in Orinyi and some areas in Athithowi and Abaroj. They are also working to give some food to other affected areas within the course of next month. This is a good step but it is still not enough and we need to enhance it with our input. However, we have to to appreciate some natural gifts which were brought by the flood - lots of fish. We need to encourage our people to utilize this opportunity of fishery and make some money out of it for buying other needs. We need to help them with fishing materials and rowing boats from the contribution we are going to make. Please collo let us take this proposal seriously and we will be proud of what we have done with the little we have even if it is 3000 - 5000 US dollars as it expected from our people in diaspora.

In comment to bro. Kwathi Akol Ajawin. You should know from the very begining that we all came to the United States as refugees with empty hands, except for the IOM blue bags with red cross documentations. in there; to permit our stay in this country. Secondly, you may have a house or a home here yet you may not be able to extend a help because all money generated will meet your monthly morgage or various bills, such as electric, phone, gas, etc. Thirdly, poverty or homelessness situations in the USA are common not only for us but even for those who are citizens of this country by birth, but can never prevent at all from extending a small or pity hand to our love ones back hom. unless we are so greedy, selfish, and untruthful to ourselves.
If we can give $300.00 or $500.00, at our best, what is wrong with that? Is that not better then we give nothing at all?.I hope you are not exhibiting a desire of not wanting Collo in the USA to rally behind our Fashoda Community in the USA to do little support for our fellow country men and women who are living now in rains and floods.

Attention Chollo: Let’s focus on the efforts to help our people. I believe strongly that we can manage to raise funds to assist our people from our own merger resources and ignore those who are trying to work against that effort. We should not confuse the efforts we are trying to take to assist our people who have been affected by floods disaster in Pothi Chollo with those who are trying inserted their evildoers to spoil that effort. These individuals are known for their evildoer and always try to pursue evil against good in the Chollo community. I urged those who have the goodwill to support this effort to help our brothers and sisters who are in need. We should just ignore these individual who are known for their evildoer against Chollo community as a whole since in Egypt, and now in the United States. These same individuals have been anti-Chollo community in Egypt when they were there. Now they are just doing that here in the United States. So let’s not allowed ourselves to be intimidated by those evildoers who believe only in hates and bigotry. I believe evil cannot defeat good if we believe in doing good. Lastly, I appreciate your support and those of you who believe in doing good thing. As many of you shared view and sympathize about the suffering of people who have been victimize by floods disaster even if it is small amounts is better than nothing.

Dear John Kimo. U shouldn't be annoyed by any negative comment that isn't relevant to main topic. I appreciate your humbleness, because "Pride slays thanksgiving, but an humble mind is the soil out of which thanks naturally grow. A proud man is seldom a grateful man, for he never thinks he gets as much as he deserves.....
