The federal government denied it was racist.But the Minster has gone so far as to cut the numbers or pending and give the chance to Asia and middle East. The decision has been released after the muder of a young sudanese youth killed by two australian now under arrest. Most of sudanese here are suprissed and confused, because the blaming of all african including sudanese of fighting and drinking alcohol and vilonce is not true.
We are all human being and no one can accept accussing all africans because of integrattion difficulty in settling in australia.
We have responsibilties and respect and obay australian way. But any one belive that in any community in any country there is indfegul crime as two of australian who kill a sudanese man. And at last all african including sudanese are criminals and terarries according to media report, puting the blood of the man who have been killed by australian in save side behand not suspisus behaver. who is a criminal? and who died?
This issue is not simple, and Mr Minster should give appology to all africans. And the issues of how africans have difficulties of settling need basic sulotion from the Australian govenment and all african communities.
I personaly give thanks to Australian government who granted visas to many africans to come to Australia.And I hope that I will give my support to Mr prime Minster to Win the coming election becuase of him I came to Australia.
But the vision of Minster of immigration is a message to all africans, and had been said by former mayer in Sydney and Dandenong about sudanese as Mr Minster of Immigraion said.
This time is from the top and head of Immigration.
where is human rights in A country of Multiculturasim and Democracy..????

I don't believe what they are saying against Sudanese community in the media these days is true" that 's just bullshit".
Firstly I do watch the program about crime in Australia and I didn't see any case about Sudanese fellow.
Secondly the only thing that Sudanese can not/ are not able to cope with is the system of gay and lesbian because it is out of our culture.
Thirdly no body can reach to the level crime of white Australian from Sudanese community.

come on it's true those Sudanese kids want to be gang and stuff it's common in Aussie and many part of the world.. Now in Egypt Sudanese are killing each others with knifes and stuff forming gang and so many other stupidity you name it..

I do belive that Emmanuel Sansilous, just want to share the ideas, but without reading problems and find out how to deal with it and declare.
We are the part of our children and we care for them, yuo can say what ever you like, but don for get when you accept accussation of African and sudanese in general and stop them to come any part of the world like australia, for humantarian reason is not easy. let us speak out and let the world know the truth , because we have no statistic of criminal, in australia and australia had sigen the UN act of allowing refgees to come to australia, but if australia want to stop that ,not because we are criminals.

Are all Sudanese a gang? what you put it are not true every community in the world have diignity
gang are found in Astralia before the Sudanese came here.How do you realize when you see tv always and why yuo are foucing on Sudanese community .

It is a fact that the Australian Federal Government has frozen the intake of African refugees, as a result of continuing problems with Sudanese refugees. the minister of the immigration department Kevin Andrews said that Sudanese are unable to integrate into Australian society.
On the contrary, Mr/Brumbly the premier of Vitoria State spokeout in support of Sudanese,"if the federal government were to terminate this program I, for one, would be very very upset about that". Morever, Victoria Police Commissioner Christine Nixon said " Sudanese immigrants were not over-represented in crime figures". this was confirm by one of the police report that say there are no more arrests of Sudanese then of other ethnic groups.
I think there is something more confidential with the Federal Government's decision, maybe racism against black people. Integration is not an overnight process. Australian immigration history has experienced in this matter, Chinese, Cambodian, Vietanamese, lebanese, etc faced the same challenges at their first arrival, as it has been recorded in Australian decuments . but their first generation children grew to adulthood, and most have become good citizens.
Gangs, violence and crime become a world wide problems, and it should not be confine within a particular community. it should be address in abroad sense. this does not mean that Sudanese in Australia are extempted, some of us are involved in this problems. If the Australian Federal Government want to shift the humanitarain immigration program to other part of the world, it is reasonable, but it should not be at the expense of our reputation in general.
