The president of GOSS in his press conference on the 26/5/2011 in Juba to explain the incidences in Abyei, the president open fire in all directions and his argument was much a rationalization of the situation in an attempt to convince those who attended the gathering that the problem was an isolated incidence between two soldiers from SAF and SPLM.
It very hard to belief that an isolated incidence between two soldiers can mow down almost 200 plus soldiers from SAF and UN convoy. As facts stand, it appears that the force used by SAF was dis proportionate. However, having heard the bitterness in the president’s press conference, we are made to disbelieve that the reiteration from both parties to the CPA that there is no going back to war remain flimsy.
The situation in the south is deteriorating day after day with respect to the southern internal security of the south. Now that the balance tilting to between the south and the north raises so many concerns of how the affairs of the south is being seriously being mismanaged. H.E. the president clearly blamed the NCP for the problems in the south, while the GOSS continuous to make the NCP and the north a hanging stick for the very clear failures which keep growing day after as we approach the D-day for the south.
The president of GOSS who fails to rally the south behind him when he is in clear dire need for all the southern people. It appears that Omar El Bashir did not need to behave like Hitler to open many fronts at the same time. How could he fight in the south and at the same time the Egyptian army. Mr. president of GOSS whose plate is much fuller than Omer El Bashir’s should mine his business before lecturing others. What happened in Abyei is condemn in strong possible words as people are in peace time. But to kill soldiers going home by agreement is not accepted.
Mr. President of GOSS who under rates the insurgence for what ever cause is bad politics. It is contradictory to call Gen. George Athor an excellent SPLA soldier and at the same time label him inefficient who failed to execute his duty.
The soldiers who rebelled in the Collo land and the SPLA who are not happy with Salva Kiir directly because he gave their land to the Dinka as PIJI AND AKOKA. What kind of president that could grab the land of others and give it to his people? You have now taken up the stories of you people to rationalize your failures. People of the south tried their level best to try to make you think rationally about the situation in the south, but you won’t listen and instead you are seeking to be ordained as a life time dictator president to take people out of their homes. SPLM-DC has no army and those who invaded Malakal are those who were to be absorbed at Dur. Now, Nimeri use to catch people, put them in prison and call them communist, when they came out from prison they became real communist.
