Memorandum by Collo popular Organization to the United Nations Embassies, and human rights organizations.

Date 21/5/2011

As you have been following in recent months the massacres that occurred in the territory (Fashodo Kingdom) of Collo tribe, on 06/03/2011 at village of Dur in Panyikango County, area of Dhothim in Upper Nile State (Malakal), this extended...

to other areas throughout the county of Panyikango, in the form of frequent and repeated massacres launched by the SPLA forces of the Government of South Sudan at this time. The number of dead people is about five hundred, men, women and children, and the purpose of these repeated attacks on the territory of Collo is for grabbing of the land and the elimination of Collo’s tribe before the announcement of the birth of the State of South Sudan on 07/09/2011.
We have faith in you and the role you can play in support of human rights and the preservation of human dignity. Thus we address this memorandum to you so as to put an end to these repeated massacres in the territory of the Collo tribe, in order to exert pressure on the Government of South Sudan and issuance of the strict orders to SPLA to stop the killing, displacement, rape, genocide and ethnic cleansing of our innocent people.
We have written to you memos before, but we could not find a solution or actions taken.
We hope that you will take this note very seriously.

Demands by the Collopeople.

1 / Release of all Collo detainees from the SPLA military prisons.

2 / GOSS, SPLM/A to stop criminal acts and hostilities against the Collo people.
3 / Removal of SPLA(Dinka Soldiers) forces from the areas of Collo.

4 / To provide relief to the displaced victims and compensation of the dead in the areas of Collo.
5 / We ask for intervention of the international community to provide security for citizens in Collo Kingdom and put pressure on the Government of Southern Sudan not to support such atrocities.
6/We demand formation of an international commission of inquiry to investigate and try perpetrators of crimes against humanity and bring them to the international criminal Court, with Salva Kiir on top of the list.
7 / Dissolution of the government of Southern Sudan for failing to provide security for the citizens of the South, especially the Collo tribe.
8 / We demand UN officials, embassies and human rights organizations to go to the areas of events to determine the extent of the damage and crimes against humanity.

Thank you

why not the southern Sudan they went in the bush, because in the luck of share the same position, and fairness with Arabic. What a happening in the southern Sudan now the same system a Arabic they have done in the passed the same other tribes they have doing now in the southern Sudan now.People still survival in fearful in the collo kingdom just like 15 people they have detainee in the Renk Military HQ detention camp, and 70 people have been died, if itis true it was impossible, because its the time to somebody to be killed we were in peace. This would be returned to the southern Sudan leadership a shameful, when we have detest ourselves that meant we have not trust ourselves. The people of southern Sudan in general, they must made deliberation first, before they have though about rising their flag they must have made harmonious between themselves.Freedom itsView image stability without stability not freedom i think so.
