How would the Southern Sudan stand be in January 9, 2011? Should they vote for separation or unity? Well, based on this dilemma questions, I would suggest that South Sudan should vote for separation because it would be the only choice to freedom particularly in the South and generally in Sudan.

Because Sudan has been in a war for long time, since its independents of 1956 to 2005, and yet the war still continues in other corners of the country, separation would only be the means to relief South from the chronic experience of wars and others crimes related in this country. The South North war that last 49 years became the longer war in African. This national problem in Sudan left many generations with no education, culture, and many of them missed the beautiful environmental variation of Sudan for displacement reason. At this referendum time, if south vote for separation, south will be free and the rest of black African Sudanese will remain free as well.

Is that true Southern Sudanese will be freed if they vote for separation?

Yes, southern Sudanese will be freed if they vote for separation because they will have free access to things they like to practice such as religions, intermarriage, and cultural practices, which were dominated and dictated by Khartoum government regimes in Sudan. Anyone in the South would be free to practice his/her religions of interest including Islamic religion in the North. There will be free and fair intermarriage between residents and nonresidents of Southern Sudan. All marginalizes people of Sudan will be free in the South whether they are Arab origins or African, whether they are foreigners or a natives ; therefore, it is clear that separation will be the only means to erases dominant and dictated misrepresentation in Sudan.

Moreover, all people in the South will practice their cultures and subcultures democratically if South vote for separation, there will be no one dominant culture that will command the rest of the cultures like in the North. There will be rewording to all heroes that contributed their times for all people of Sudan in the history. Some institutions such as colleges, roads, and little towns and projects can be named with heroes’ names to remember them, and it will not be like misrepresentation of cultures that existed in the old Sudan.

What about If Southern Sudanese vote for unity of Sudan in 2011?

Well, if the South vote for unity, it would be clear that the old dominant system in Sudan will have no changed. The Arab minority population will continue to rule the county. There will be no free and fair picture in the whole Sudan; practice of religion will not be impartial, for the Arab Sudanese minority will still in power and they will continue to Islamize black African Sudanese whether by force or by controlling economic incoming of civil population in the countries. Non-Muslim in Sudan will get foods and other basic need of life unless they are converted to Islam. The process of Islamization will continue in Sudan with the help of other Arab countries in the Middle East. Black African Sudanese cultures and subcultures will continue disappearing and the important culture will only be Arab culture in all corners of this country. There will be no single institution or public office that will earn the African name on it as it was before the SPLM/A changed things in Sudan. Most institutes in Sudan were term “Arab” institutes and that will definitely come back if south would vote for unity. Institutions will remain Arab title on them, and the Sudan history will also remain important as Arab Sudanese minority in the history record of Sudan.

If Unity wills not change things in Sudan, can the Southern Sudan vote for unity?

Ethically no, there will be no reason at all for South to vote for unity. Since Southern Sudanese fought for change, they will keep fighting for change until that change is in its place. If unity will not change the county, why people vote for it? If the separation will be the only tool to change the county, why people cannot vote for it? In January 9, 2011, I want to see Southern Sudan separated from the North and gives birth a beautiful egg (independence). When South and North separated peacefully, it will be benefitual for both of them, for they will just start to build permanent friendship, share the term “Sudan”, which will be North Sudan and South Sudan, share the same name of continent Africa, start progressing with science and technology and relief from wars experience, and the South should forget and forgive the North for its old cruel administration which last for long time, caused many life to rest, and displaced many more other from Sudan.

What About if North Sudan would not let the South go peacefully and would not let the south decided whether to separation from the North or united with North?

Well, there is one option that the South can do. Unilateral declaration of independence is one option for South. Unilateral declaration of independence will clearly separate the country weather the North like it or not. Unilateral declaration of independence in the south will only be the option that will end selfishness and misleading representation in Khartoum. If the North will not cooperate with the South in January 9, 2011 referendum voting, South and North will still separate and the South will loss confident from North forever. If the North should not let the South decided by itself, it would signal that the North wants the South for the resources located in the South such as oil and other possessions that are in the South.

What would happen if North wants the South to go vote for referendum after demarcation areas between the North and South are clarify first?

I can suggested that clarifying border cannot be bad Ideas if urgently work can be done for referendum schedule, but it would be a delaying tactics when the North postponed the referendum schedule in the South. As the eyes witnesses are observing, North is trying very hard for unity of Sudan which is already too late in my prediction.

What About if North should use military mean as tool to force Southern to unity?

I can suggest that southern politicians and leaders inside Sudan and outside Sudan will fight very much to let the world knows the humiliations of human right and democratic violation that is going on in Sudan North. IGAD, AU, UN, EU, and world superpower government or US will be alerted. While Sudanese peace lover are demonstrating, the Sudan People Liberation Army or SPLA and other forces in Sudan including black African Sudanese forces that are in Khartoum and outside Khartoum must united and defend the violation of human right again Khartoum regimes in Sudan.

At this critical time, I can propose that black African Sudanese must united and act together, defend Sudanese human right together, work hard to bring peace in Sudan together, and defend the world democratic system in Sudan together.

If Khartoum government regime would continue its dividing policy rule, it should be wise for nigro to understand it. If one person tells me that I am better than my siblings, for example, and I accepted that, I can be a fool, for there will be no reason to accept that I am really better than my siblings at all, that can be laid.

If Khartoum regime gives me a lot of wealth to campaign for unity and persuaded Southern people vote for unity?

Simply, I would say no to this policy because living in free society would be better than living in no free society. In another term, I would grantee the security of my wealth in the South than having wealth in the North that I will not enjoy and grantee my secure and my wealth security. In addition, a wealth that I will have alone without my people in the South would be meaningless in my view.

To sum this paper up,

It is clear that southern Sudan will be free from Khartoum government regimes that have come and gone and will come and gone unless South voted for separation. It is also clear that Jalapa is working day and night to persuade Southern Sudanese vote for unity by using country wealth to convince the population vote for unity which is not the real objective, but it is the mean to dominate south forever if South will comply with the ideas play by the North. Even if people of Southern Sudan are in critical and threatening time from cruel and selfishness regime in Khartoum, let them demonstrated their right and stand for it strongly. It would be wise notions for Southern Sudanese in particular, black African Sudanese in general, and peace lover people in Sudan and around the globe to united against the enemy of peace in Sudan (Khartoum government regime). Let Jinubeen say no to wrong perception and say yes to the right democratic perception. Let Southern Sudanese know their right and stand for it together without fear. Down, Down to the unity of Sudan and Up, Up to the separation of Southern Sudan. I personally stand for separation and I would like all southern Sudanese stand for separation.
