We would like to make the following clear:
1.Neither the SPLM-DC nor its Chairman has militia in any part of Sudan. We made an attestation to this effect to the Political Parties Affairs Council.
2.The SPLA has a presence in the area mentioned. How did it allow militia to attack innocent civilians and turns around to trade unfounded accusations? Where is its role in the defence of the citizens?
3.The Official Spokesman of the SPLA must provide evidence to his wild allegation, otherwise he will be liable to legal proceedings.
4. It is the same official Spokesman who described as a "lie" our statement last July on the arrest of two of our members in Wadakona. Now, the Sudanese people know who is the liar for one of the detainees did address a press conference in Khartoum in which he related his ordeal and showed to the audience the signs of torture in his body. What credibility does he have?
5.The SPLA must present its evidence to the courts as there is nobody above the law.
6.Our party has no interest in being involved in violence as we are aspiring to win the general elections which cannot be held except under conditions of peace and security.
We know what is behind the targeting of the SPLM-DC. It is a plot hatched by the SPLM which is scared about the popular support the SPLM-DC is getting day by day. After it failed miserably in its attempts to obstruct our Founding National Delegates' Congress which was an unqualified success, the SPLM has resorted to branding us as promoters of violence in an attempt to close the door against our political activities. But they forget that such procedures could only be consummated before the courts of law.
It is a pity that the SPLA is being dragged into political battles which is a violation of the Constitution and the law.
We pay our heartfelt condolences for the lives of the innocent civilians who lost their lives in this unfortunate incident and we call for a thorough investigation by neutral parties in order to uncover those responsible for this incident for the law to take its course.
The Information Department
SPLM-DC.

Where where Salva & SPLA during Dinka attack on Shilluk in Anajadiar & Abanim and the assisination of Shilluk Prince , Akic Dak Padiet ? Where were Salva in Nuer & Murle fighting? Where Salva in Bari and Mundari fighting? Wherer were Salva in attack on Jurbel in their own county?
What message he want to convey? Is Dinka life more important that other Southerners? Or the government of South Sudan is there to protect Dinka only?I think the Jieng chairman / gogrial chief has lost the direction.Shilluk can't be intimidated or silented and he has to know that if he want his government to continue.

If SPM/A named the raiders who attacked Dinka villages Militias, then What is the name of group who killed inonce women and children in Abanimo and Anakder? If people can imagine the future of south Sudan, how would it be? I could say that Collo must be guarded to themselves and aware specially in this period of 2009 until 2011.

It is better if we do not exclude ourselves from the government of Southern Sudan! The government is for all Southern Sudaneses, not only for Dinka, but for all! If something is wrong we must tell the government that it is missing something or its people are killing themselvesbecause of that and these! What I know so far is lack of enough policings and tied security around the cities and villages to help in calming down tribal conflicts! More polices would be need in the future, but not the tribalism policemen/women like the one of Arab in Khartoum! Open minded ones that can read and write speak either english, local languages, Juba-Arabic or simple Arabic. The message is: Do not exclude yourselves from the government of Southern Sudan because you are the government! Did you all forget what Nyacyan's song says? "komi dhog akyel jinub won ..." Did you? What kind of Jinub are you if you are thinking as Arab or Omar el Bashir's followers?

Not only the SPLA Spokesman, but also Dr. Salva Kiir told the graduates in Malou Infantry Miliatry School that he has instructed the SPLA to speed up the disarmament of what he so-called Militias of the SPLM-DC in Shilluik areas. He was also reported to have said that Dr. Lam Akol is his first enemy. That is, he can kill him if he get the chance to get hold of him. This was reported in Alsahafa newspapers in Khartoum on 09/09/2009.
I think Salva Kiir and his henchmen and cronies are looking for troubles with Shilluk. They don't know that the law can give them terrible headache than the guns they are wrongly accusing SPLM-DC of possessing now. It seems that Salva Kiir want to kill the Shilluk King with his move to disarm even the royal guards of the kingdom.
Please Dr. Kiir be warn to seek dialogue and peace among Southerners than fueling more conflicts. Don't think that if the Shilluk areas are made unsafe without protection and self-defence you will be safe in the South. The shilluk are not easy people to deal with. Try to honour your promise when you called H.E. Oyai Deng Ajak, H.E. Pagan Amum and H.E. Alfred Akwoc few days ago and told them that they should help in creating dialogue and harmoney between the Shilluk and their neighbours Dinka. Don't play tribal games on security and ownership of the Shilluk land; otherwise the price will be dear.
