SPLA soldiers deployed to Western Equatoria to fight LRA militia

The Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) Spokesperson, Major General Kuol Diem Kuol, told Miraya FM that SPLA troops have been deployed to Western Equatoria State to fight the Ugandan Lords Resistance Army (LRA) and provide security to the citizens in the area.
Kuol did not elaborate on the number of troops deployed but said Southern Sudan is coordinating military activities with Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the Central African Republic to curb the Ugandan LRA militia.
