US delegation in south to promote democracy, SPLM says

Ms. Aker said the delegation aims to find means to help the region in developing strong institutions and good governance.
Ms. Aker said the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is currently in the process of establishing a Center for Democracy.
The Head of the visiting US delegation, Harold Ray Darnell, said the delegation plans to contribute in expanding opportunities in south Sudan. He further emphasized on education as a key component to a lasting peace.
