What excites me is gaining insights into our subconscious motivations, learning how our surroundings silently transform our beautiful values into miserable ones, when a particular party compels us to embrace an unwelcomed culture and when it blocks our rights to rebel against its ill intentions.
In my opinion, this sort of reflection is not central to the task of our cultures. That's why I'm eager to tell you about the SPLM cultures and how each one of these cultures of. Corruption and tribalism effectively contribute to our misunderstanding of the leadership.
In the western world today, many parties are tackling the massive topic of how to deal away with racism, discrimination, and corruption as social ills by encouraging high moral values and incorporating them into the nation's cultures.
Unfortunately the SPLM leaders contemporary behaviours are none but a reality that constantly make our people to feel unsafe. And no wonder that the people are beginning to talk more seriously about considering sanctuary safety. This is actually how the SPLM-DC came into existence as a legal off spring of the desperate situation with a hope to bring the needed peace and transformation in our society.
Dr Lam has placed himself in charge of the SPLM-DC at a critical time in our history when serious events are interacting in the national political arena and it has made him to be viewed through dark screens. There is joke in Britain, that, the Ladies who worked at the British Mills once plotted and destroyed the textile machinery because they thought that the machines would take over their jobs.
SPLM though that Dr Lam wants to gain leadership through the formation of the new party so they are thinking that it would be better if they can get ride of him early before the election. But, in reality this is not Dr Lam's intension in any way, but rather the new party came as a result of the lack of leadership in the SPLM. It was with the good intensions to spare the SPLM any power struggles that Lam refused to respond in kind to all the humiliations directed towards him, but he waited until he finally made his way out.
In fact having the courage to form the right party to save ones nation can be some-time a difficult task. However with SPLM-DC, it has never been any easier. Thanks to God that Dr Lam, made it. And thanks to all those who contributed with their wonderful articles and analysis that tackled the justifications for the formation of SPLM-DC. But I can still assure you that some articles and analysis were full of tribalism sheers, individualism and jealousy.
For your information Dr. Lam did not leave the SPLM as some of our brothers and sisters are claiming , it's the SPLM that left him and dismissed many others without tangible reasons as a proof to the fact that the SPLM leaders of the day have completely deviated from the Movements noble vision and direction.
SPLM-DC supporters are not only from the Shilluk, the Nuer, or the Dinka tribes. But they are from all the southern Sudanese tribes, representing a wide range of free thinking and open minded people who refused to be part of the parcel or package of corruption and tribalism that has terribly captured the daily lives of the common south Sudanese.
The SPLM has always held the flag of discrimination and tribalism and some of its supporters are preaching against our unity directly or indirectly during the past four years or so. After the CPA, SPLM was immediately converted into a tribal industry for the Dinka tribe and their friends, even some of them are opportunists who have nothing to offer to their people. Please if you are honest can you tell me what the main objectives of the liberation struggle were and compare and contrast that to how the SPLM leaders are behaving today?
Yes, you may be right to disagree with honourable Dr Lam Akol and his methods but you should not resort to the usage of derogatory, discriminatory and any abusive words for that matter. As we all know that Dr Lam Akol did many good things and is still doing even more for South Sudan and the marginalised people all over Sudan. In other words he is fighting for the justice, equality, stability and peace for the people of South Sudan and the Sudan at large.
It was him (Lam) and Dr Riek Machar in 1991 who called for the right of self-determination for the people of South Sudan to be explicitly adopted by SPLM/A as their inputs into CPA. However, it is his right time now to become the president of South Sudan as well as that of the whole a Sudan and we shall only judge him by the way he is going to run the country?
Since the death of our hero John Garang, Salva Kiir, has taken the position of leadership but unfortunately he has not been performing well. If the SLPM leaders were genuine they should have admitted with courage the failure of their party and face up to its difficulties. They should not blame other parties for their failures, but rather they should have explicitly shown to the public which direction the party is going and what they are going to do to bring security and order. And how were they of going to change their party's (SPLM) deeply enrooted culture of corruption, tribalism and nepotism.
As a southerner I am so proud for being one and I completely believe that south-Sudan will shine if Southerners rise up for change of course towards the better and start taking pride in being Southerners. We need a leader who will focus on: Humanity and ethics as basic principles. A person of Integrity, Responsibility, with Respect to laws and rules, Respect to the rights of other citizens, and the rights of all citizens over their ancestral lands, and we should leave the Animals Farm's cultures which the SLPM leaders and supporters are preaching nowadays. We need to adopt good attitudes that comply with the functional principles of our cultures as urgency before the referendum in 2011. Grace and peace
Long live SPLM-DC

Mr. David Martin, is completely dis associated with historical facts. Every statement he made here in his comments are fake, this makes him least intellectual and non objective a sentamentalist naive in presenting very un reasonable non ideological ideas. I agree with him that joining SPLM is not an obligation. If his shallow mind accepts this fundimental freedom to assoscite and un doing it, then why is he abusing Dr. Lam for quiting the unpopular SPLM. What Dr.Lam and Dr. Riak did in 1991 was dictated by the situation at the time, otherwise they would have not joined the movement leaving the professional lecturing in U of K. But many people joined the movement because the the tremendous work done by Dr.Lam in khartoum recruiting people like Cdr. Yousif Kua, Abulaziz El hilu etc. You should understand that SPLM was the birth child of marginalization by the Khartoum governments. Like people who go on an hunting party and after the catch, the leader of the team decides not to share the meat, not even talk about the type of the caught animals. From your reasoning it appears you had had no honor of having been born by 1991.
I wonder wheather you can convince any one about the precious southern lives lost in the bush e.g. Joseph Odoho,Martin Majier, Akwot Atem,Gai Tut, Lokurjang, Benjamin Bol Akok etc. These Heroes died in cold blood, because the critacised the movement. FASHODA agreement was a safty valve for the Collo land. Dr. Lam signed the agreement as a pressure by Collo people behind NYAJWOK. Even that, he didi not turn is gun against his brothers in the SPLA. You can ask Oyay Deng Ajak if there was an incident of fighting with SPLM/United? The Coordinating Council of Southern State Government was not a rouge government like the current one in Juba I know because Iwas there. Please cite an example of corruption case you heard of
75% of petrolium you give here is imaginary as the wealth sharing was done according to the CPA.Thus you statement holds no water what so ever.
The wars you believe were caused by Dr. Lam Collo land are false. In 2003/2004, the devastation of Collo land was because Dr.Lam Joined the SPLA/SPLM and Dr. Riak before him, after there was an improvement of human rights records and democratic realization in the SPLM/SPLA. This is evident by the 1ST SPLM convention at CHUKUDUM in 1994. But more importantly, Dr. Lam or Nasir faction had managed to broker the self-determination which is the demand for all southern people that all are waiting to achieve by 2011. Mr. David you are properlly mis informed and you can easily face a court suit by defaming the most honest person at contamperary. Can you mention a single intellectual or non intellectual politician like your self killed by Dr. Lam when he was the chairman and C-in-C of SPLM/United?. You must be a big empty burrel who will never understand politics of the masters. Ihope you were in Sudan to see for your self that a party in the making, can attract huge number of people accross the land especially in the South. Please tell your masters to apply democratic practice without intemidation and you will see for your self. Change has come to SPLM by formation of SPLM-DC you can't help it.

dear peter it is better for to leave the political field and focus on medical field to serve the lives of patients , becuase you present in southern states coordination concil as a ministry of health gave no benefit and added no thing to southerners in general and collo in particular ,. devastation 0f collo land in 20032004 by malicious of southern states co ordination concil you were a member of this government at that time and you did now thing for collo when our children and elders were killed by you malicious . so how can you and you master bring a change to community as you alleged falsely ? or it is a propaganda of election ? , please lies are lies and facts are facts , lies cannot become a facts for mean of propaganda alone ., how should we as southernes support the person whom preaching arabic islamic agendas like Dr Lam ? SPLM -DC chairperson went to arab and said : sudan future is in danger of separation do you remember this statement ? this is a selfishnes talking .
which political ideology are you belong to ? is arab islamic , socialism or American emberialism ? as i know you emty minded ideas , you neither believe in socialism nor imberialism . please the person who live in glass house should not throw the stones.
my advice to you is either to leave a politic or you must enter political schools to be tought to play a political games carefuly inorder to achieve the dvantages.
is very chample if you donnot know khartoum agree contents becuase you were been a minister in the government that had formed by this agreement , it stated that in above agreement: southerners shall take 75% of south production of petrolium so if you information you information is not enough for a politican this is not my responsibility but i will advice you to go and read again .

dear Adowk , thank you for you ideas whether i agreed or not .
first of all you must to know that SPLM membership is not an obligated to any member but it is opened thaty means you has the freedom to join or leave the the party at any time you want .
what was did by Dr lam & Dr Riek in 1991 is for selfishnes interests not for southerners as they aliged and proved by what appeared very clear when they alied with with national islamic fundamental (NIF)or national congres party (NCP) now, and made a weak agreement khartoum & Fashoda peace agreements respectively, and they had formed what called SOUTHERN STATES COORDINATION CONCIL it this concill arm that burn collo areas and fought against SPLMA in side of khartoum government . and they did no thing for sotherners inspite they had given 75% of petrolem .
dear Adwok you must to know that all wars that took place in collo land and cause lost of the lives Dr Lam was responsible , in other hand absent of collo intelectuals in SPLM leadership , Dr Lam was a one who drive collo intellectuals from SPLM main stream to help him in fighting against what he called falsely as dactatorship movement which led by late Dr John. when he arrived at collo land the he start killing collo couragous , intellectuals and pliticians to the only leader of collo . therefore i am suprisng when you talking about lam AKOL.
SPLM-DC should never ever be a mechanism for change , becuase we know very well the party that is behind formation of it , and southernes must know that this party is a mechanism for dishonoring of CPA , but i think it cannot be happen as they did to them friends in khartoum and Fashoda agreements.
