Shulluk are ordered to leave their lands

Are Shilluk being targeted??? Part of reason that had caused 1955 rebellionIn 1955, the Arab government in Khartoum had ordered the Southern troops to be exported to the Northern Sudan and the Northern troops to be stationed in South. But the southerners were wise enough that their forces had disobeyed the orders and have rebelled instead of executing them. Is SPLM/A Policy resemble the Khartoum-1955 policy?

Immediately after signature of CPA that ended the war between South and North, Dr. John Garang has appointed the administrative caretakers. Dr. Lam Akol was ordered to serve in Bar el Gazhel, and Dr. Riek Machar in Equatoria. Such decision by Dr. Garang had indeed feared many people that something might be behind the notion. Additional informationOn 10/10/2008, I have received a phone call from Malakal that the Invader brothers (Dinka) along the river of sobat are not allowing the Shulluk women and men from going to work in their ordinary farms.Again on 12/10/2008, I have received a call from one of shulluk chief who informed me that shulluk chiefs are heading to Fashodo tomorrow on 13/10/2008 on urgent mission. The reason is that there was a circulated document found in Malakal streets that contains the information asking shulluk to leave Malakal and other areas or face a consequence. Is there any GOSS preventive intervention?I have called one of shulluk political figure in Malakal and inquired about the role of Malakal government, army and police to prevent and protect the intimidated civilians before such incident occur. But, he told me that police, army and government of Malakal are so reluctant. The big fear is that, SPLA soldiers and policemen are being occupied by Dinka from high ranking to lower who might be in a position of supporting land confiscation. No shulluk people in police and army and political institution in their hometownIf it is true, there is a saying that shulluk men and women in uniform have been exported to other regions and are very few in numbers in Malakal. Consequences of Shulluk absence in those fields-         Partial demilitarization in which shulluk civilian weapons were taken by GOSS in Malakal leaving Dinka civilians with their weapons.-         Culprit policemen and soldiers could be culprit taking part in plot and collaboration with armed citizens. There was a police force being sent to police the troubling areas, but that force was dislocated into peaceful Dinka-         Genocide shulluk people would be massacred since they are not arm and not represented in police, government and army. In Malakal, Dr. Lam was almost killed and was asked to leave Malakal. In Malakal, almost two hundred people lost their lives in 2006. In Malakal, many shulluk villages are invaded. In Malakal, money and position have been given to others to enslave shulluk and caused shulluk beautiful girls to simple and repugnant before others. These are all preluding events which tell us, worst is going to happen against shulluk people.  Shulluk leaders in GOSS and in SPLA can they say something and take a right decision. Our brothers from GOSS who held a visit to king recently should do more by raising land issue to GOSS.Shulluk leaders in PC (NIF) should act now rather than being too late. His majesty Shulluk King and his coordinators should now not tomorrow call for generally public conference to take a consensual decision which could at least deter the threat.Individuals we do something specially in mobilizing other southerners and those who misunderstand shulluk such as Nubian and Funj people to have picture about what is taking place. Let express our dissatisfaction against this plot to avoid regret. Can protection and prevention occur after incident? Learn the lessons from Rwanda, South Africa and Liberia My brothers and sisters, danger is encroaching our people. We do not intend to be enemy to our brothers and sisters, but they have an obvious readiness to harm us. We are not Dinka enemy, but we are their brothers and their own people who suffered and fought side-by-side with them against the true enemy of all..People were massacred in South Africa, Rwanda, and Liberia, but in future, search was not about to revenge, but to reconcile and forgive the people who kill your people. There was no chance for the relatives of victims to harm those who harm their love ones again. It was a gone incident because people do search for peace rather than revenging. Therefore, at least let shulluk do something to stop this eminent threat from happening. Should we wait and be killed or silence and inherit future of uncertainty to our children. No, my freedom or kill me. Let stop it now whether by peaceful mean if possible, or by whatever it may require.

Dear brothers and sisters! we should not get panic, No body will take our land.though what you mention sound so painful, this will never ever happen to collo. I know there are many incidend at this time, we need to selltle down act very wisly, report any supeiciation element to the gervernoment as soon as y possible.
Dear my brother we should not isolate ourselve from this gervernemt it belong to all of us. If Jelaba didn't do it to us, do you think they can do? i said no:. they only wand to take advantage of this time (it is like a window period wehen there is no rule and order)which will not last.Report the case to geveronemt to improve the security down, I believe the GoSS will respond.

Does it mean, we are too passive for looming danger?
If we don't act, are we going to be wiped off the map?
Okay, we are ordered to leave Malakal, why? Should we leave or diminish? what worried me is that superstorm is going to strike. When it stroke the consequences are beyond imaginable and not many of us are aware about this big monster in the backyard. For those brillians who are seeing this potential eminent threat is like sky falling on them without a rescue. What kind of compaign should be done to take rest of us out to realize the potential? "The Distinction Of Shilluk Power" Squeez it out.Numerious incidents have occured already in 2004 to squeeze the kingdom out when thousand of shilluk residents were tortured, burn their houses, rapped woment and girls by Nuer militias in cooperation with some shillulk crooks. The problem escelating every single day since than. Still the worst to come. Dinkas are growing interest to occupy every single unit of shilluk territories. They felt supermacy of their control in every corner in the GOSS. Should we united to fight this common threat or reluct and say non of my business and let monster take advantage. Shilluk fought bravely against Arab for the liberation of our country. But CPA mean exploiting others, I don't care "Spoil it now"

I can say it is a good move toward unity for all Shilluk (Collo) community, our people are suffering and not doing well since and after CPA has signed, their lands has been taken by so-call DANKA. However, Shilluk community should say now enough is enough, Danka should get out from our Lands now.
Danka letter it is insult to our King and Shilluk kingdom. Please let us act now and not later. I am ready to go back home to fight, "as our brother said" i do not care to spoil this peace now

  • Dr Albino Amum Awin

Our brothers and sisters actually we are facing a real organized problems which including invasion of our land and marginalization of shilluk tribe at the level of GOSS we have no minister ,also in the SPLM party we are marginalized ,if see the last apointments of SPLM secreteriats ,we cannot any find shilluk at all levels of the party ,national ,southern and northern sectors .
now we are facing circulating paper directing shilluk to leave malakal for dinka as said they in them circulating paper.
and i think it is a good time now for shilluk to unite for taking the action of defending for our land .and our leaders must have the decision at this time .because if we still fearing from taking the decision including fighting our land must taken by dinka even our children and all things we own they will take.

Akic: warning over a new Danka terrorist in our homeland
I can see evidence of Danka terrorist plotting on an almost daily basis to find a way to destroy and take our “Collo” Shilluk Kingdom land, brothers and sisters let me informed you this the time has came to united and stop dirty and ugly politics games between ourselves the real threat is phenomenon, when the Danka strike they dose not know nobody and also you should not think that GOSS will help us and solve our problem I am total disagreed, however , what I do agree is that Shilluk nations should stand-up and say enough is enough it is a time now to protect our nations.
Brothers and Sisters, today I believe that same Danks tribe elements are evil and enemy of CPA and they deserve crush for ever and ever. Again I know that same Danka politicians are abusing their positions and powers in our government (GOSS) on other tribes and they took SPLM/A as their properties. They must or should understand that SPLA/M, is not belong to Danka only but it is belong to all South- Sudan people. On the other hand if same Danka elements want to take Shilluk Land, then I can say now they are worst then Arabs in the North Sudan. Eventually they are enemy of south Sudan people and CPA.
Brothers and Sisters, you should say this No matter how hard the decision, I will try to do what I believe to protect my Land and my people including our kingdom, know many of you find it hard to understand why I care so deeply about this. I tell you it is fear. Not the fear that Danka are about to launch a strike on a Shilluk people tomorrow or the next day. But the fear that one day these new threats from Danka one day Danka or others tribes will deliver a catastrophe to our people in the homeland and the shame then of knowing that I saw that threat, day after day, and I did nothing to stop it. I cannot, and I will not, do that. No matter how hard the decision, I will try to do what I believe to be right to protect our children, wives and mothers, fathers, grandmother and grandfathers and indeed our Kingdom. As I said in my previous statement I am ready to go home to fight against our enemy.
I'm here because I want peace and I don't want to see again innocent Shilluk civilians killed in cool blood, we need to stop a Danka aggressiveness now rather than later.

Collo have been victims of struggle through out the history of liberations. they resisted turkish rules ansar el mahdi regime and Anglo-Egyptian government during colonalism. From the time of anya-anya one down to SPLM/A, Collo (shilluk) paid the price because they live on both side of the white Nile. and they received the first bombatment from the sudan military steamers caring troops to Juba or to the fields of their operation. first casulties on the way are Collo (shilluk) their villages are burn ,cattles looted. We collo endure that because we considered that as the cost of liberation. BUT our comrades dispite their knowledge about the participation of shilluk Sons & doughters in the liberation struggle. and historical weight they added to the Kingdom by naming some batallions & tasksforces of SPLA after their beloved heros and fashoda the simbol of the Kingdom.our brothers gave no value to this contribution.
The disarmment that shilluk accepted was to gave peace a meaning. but if this is exploited,by the new jelaba of the south to invade shilluk land, then let us asure them that jelaba has no colour. no matter how balk you are, you have no right to invade other communities land for CPA says land belong to the community.
One of our great politician(Adwok Luige) once said (that if you want to fight a cat inside aroom, don't close all the windows for the cat will have no option then to commit sucide. and the cat target will be the eye.)

Dear Collo, can some body scan that letter and paste it on web site or send it to masses email. it will be good if all of us should read that threat and know what is a head of us.
For, those who talk of united of collo,I can inform you that, collo people are not united on political and but not Nyipiny Nyikang dear

  • Obac

I think it is too much for chollo to surfered in the hands of Dinkars in whatever they are, all chollo men and women we should be ready for action with Dinkars who are giving us hard time when they see that because they are many in the government. But these Dinkars should know that chollo people started staying on that land for so many years and now chollo are saying no no Dinkars should get out on that holy land which is the land of kingdom of chollo people.

  • Ayiik Paul

People like oj seemed not care about their people. he/she has no prove that he is collo either(don't take it as issue here)......
please do not use your initial next time.
From your comment you sound as you are aganist unity of collo. This is not about parties, it is about real situation of collo and their land. it is better to visist those affected areas. It is very sad indeed.
Never bring confusion between politic and the truth on ground.
i am not aganist your own understanding.
but let all unit and protect our people.
and you will still be where you belong to politicaly.

  • Carlo

Abu Zik, but its seems words are speaker louder than action.

  • Em Shanjok

Guys all I know is that most of the people are out of reach.. Seriosuly Shilluk people are not represented at all time.. We have to do something to prevent such threat.. Our people need to stand and send letter to the so Called Dinka goverment.. If that's it the threat it's better to stay United with the whole Sudan..

  • Wadawang

I think need not to cry . We need to act wisely and urgently. Why our politician don't go to juba and confront Salva, and ask him to bring our Shilluk men and women in uniform back to Upper Nile State.
Because when the time come and people fight Southners people and the whole SPLM members may be aware that the Chief executive was called upon his duty and fail to response.
Last point I want to make The Shilluk people can not and will not be moved by just a piece of paper,to me they trying to test our deepest water. Does Commissioner of Makal county has personnel in uniform to protect its territory, such as act in Malakal must be prosecuted.

  • Adwok Adieng

Hey brothers and sisters it look like we have been tested by our nieghbore or in other way may be whoever posted that statement trying to checkout our unity as chollo ,before friend of mind told me about that so my brother. what is the deal whith those folks is it true mal ba kal? well we let anyone in our home, and they tried to claim it.

  • Em Shanjok

I was told that Shilluk people are silly People and will never take such threat seriously. I was told by a Shilluk person just today.. This is sad you know I'm willing to help in any way.. This is exactly what the Dinkas are doing in Equotoria. It's like they're building a empire out of Southern Sudanese Tribes..

  • johnson mayik

You collo you known that crying will not help you these foes and terrerists they do not have some known as mercy they only response to power and pressure so do not begg thegovernment on your terratory and your land . becouse this a will in thier heart they want to turn it to reality so your policy of begging the government (Goss)rather than pressurizing it has always never been sucessful .so please stop this habit of begging for its not there in vacobulary in southerners.please understand the dierctive of politics in south .

  • Aban Obong

Our botherhood!plesase let us comedown. Its not the right time, and we know how to deal with the threat.

  • Joseph Okony

Any how a lot have been said by brothers but as one mentioned that collo suffered during the war because of being on both beaches of Nile, in Addition to that, there were many martyrs who have fallen dead during the war for the sake of south as a whole, and now the end/reap for collo is to be uprooted from their land. Please let us confront it strongly and vigorously even if it could lead to instability in the area. Why not? we are not represented in GOSS and we kept quite because we are caring about the stabililty of south, but when the plot reached to issue concerning the land I think no room to keep quite even if it cost life.

  • Tipo William Mel

it is hard sometimes to do a comment on something that one has no evident, especially to people who are living far a way from where the incident took place or is taking place. However, being ocollo who is much concerned about our people advancement and prosperity, I could say that it would be advisable for us to calm down and have a sense of history in dealing with serious issues as our forefathers did in their time.otherwise our writings and comments will resound as a clanging cymbal.the one who has a good history in leadership is not like the one who hasn't. the only thing we need to do instead of critizing on the internet is to have a strategic planning in each and every issue that we think would have a negative impact to our community through our different organized bodies in wherever we are around the world.and since the future is inherently unpredictable we need to devise strategies to cope with the different scenarios, because in the real life, the only constant is change.therefore, we need to think about our problems in a strategic way, and to generate strategic options that we may pursue under different circumstances. May God bless you and bound us together in a common life and help us to work together with mutual forbearance and respect.

    Dear brothers and sisters,

There is no such a thing that will force us, Cøllø to leave our land either from SPLM/A or Khartoum government! Just be patient and keep your eyes open enought, fear nothing, but God. If it be real, the same force must applied to resist the situation... Thank you and don't live in panic Cøllø.

In Collo land the decision of defending the land is a responsibility of the banyi of every Collo village, law of Collo allows any banyi of any Collo village to declare war on any group of people organised or unorganised to protect the interest of Collo. Those who are waiting for Reth(King) to declare war may be wrong because reth of Collo is a spiritual leader of the Nyikango Dynasty, the untold history of Collo reveals that Collo land is infact a holly land where people of God live on Earth,Fashoda is a place of peace, the king will intervene only at a certain level of threat Known only in Fashoda.
the real men who turned into cows are shilluk politicians and youth, the youth are mounted with their sisters in malakal and everywhere else even diaspora and the politicians are mounted in Juba complete with the elders, and mother Pagan Amum who keep hiring some Nuers and Dinkas to praise and full fill his pagan believes on evil people like dinkas and nuers who have entirely turned southern sudan into sodom and gomorah.
There is no government in Southern Sudan, the evil in the house of president Kirr Rumbek the blood of southern people is making them trunk and close to death, they fill the government with evil clandestine style government all of Drunkad/Danka also named by turks as Dinka, Kirr could not stop the apparent rebellion in his own home town and hidding in the heaven land in Equtoria Juba, the land of peacefull bari our Collo cousin and madi and Acholi.
Sincerely Pagan Amum Okiech should Start to Cow and Mount Both Kirr and Riak Machar in Juba. I will be back

Infact we should be effective towards approaching the issue, and this sholud be in different forms.
The enemy has approached the Newspaper and they express what they express in "Al Wifaak" arabic newspaper.

I think we should be serious too and approach the media for the following reasons:

Firstly to make every body alert of our issue being Collo or any.
Secondly to address the community in large(Sudanese people).
Thirdly to address the Government in its different levels,Commissionary/Commissionaries of Collo Conuties, Upper State Government, and Government of Southern Sudan.

All these steps is just to give chance for all the organs mentioned above to know the issue and have an prospect to solve,in this way we would prepare the path properly, by the way to fight a war we should declare it, so that no any blame from any where will have a chance in.

All these preparation does not prevent the underground mobilation and movement towards minor actions on the field.

    We should not wait long.

Rage, rage...!! yay nyikang..., for our day is near with forces of darkness in the South Sudan.
History is on our shoulder, we must stop this psychological warfare wage against Shilluk.
Who do they think they are to claim Shilluk land their own?

In my mind this matter will not be adjudicated by the government in South Sudan whose prime purpose as it seems is to promote the very idea of tribal hegemony. All over South Sudan people in Azande , Didinga, Acholi lands are confronting this bigotry.

  • Dr olaw

Oh at last there is somthing called collo unity.such a paper is not new, domination of others is not new, calls for unity is not new.i really hope this time it is series uprising not hypocracy from others.those who circulated this yollow paper know better than most of us that our mouthes are without teeth.we are crying wolf without knowing the situation on grownd.suppose war erupted now,do you people who are in diaspora know who has the bulk of armed personel?oh fortunately i was in abyei during last clashes with the real enemy.collo:your combatants are there doing the job vrey well but back here(powth akal e lum)the farm is being tacken by the grass,as our great singer Nyachan put it.so if you can influence those who are influential to bring some of these hero back home it will be a great jpb to put some teeth to your (sharoms)toothless mouthes.

I think having time to access this website is an indication of being much concerned in whatever is going on in our entire community, regardless of how we express our ideas and comments and wherever we live.the security of our people and land concerned all of us, even if one lives in abroad still his or her family members or relatives live at home .therefore, let us refrain from personal attacks or comments that are vulgar or otherwise inappropriate, because at the end of day the consensual decision or action is the one that will work.

first of all how are u Ogyeth? by the I myself i am out side sudan where i am doing my masters.so you started your offensive without understnding my aim.being in diaspora should not make you hypersensitive to alerting you for your responsibilities.I SAID INFLUENCE THE INFLUENTIALS IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THEM TO BRING THE TROOPS BACK HOME.i think i made myself clear. say hi to your family it is long time since days of Bank Al-agrari.my regards

thank Dr/ Olaw for you immediate reply, although I did a general comment without pointing my figure at a particular person. However, the Bible said, "...in all things God works for the good..." I am really very happy to heard that you are doing your master degree. this is one of the weapons we need to equip ourselves for the future as one of our political leader said, for those who are minority they have to use their mind and knowledge to face any challenge and secure their position. May God the source of all wisdom and understanding give strength so that you do your studies diligently and successfully. with the kind regard,
