this name is really weirred and unfamilliar to me, when did you changed the community's name? was it through the general assembly of Pachodo community Association in the usa? is it accepted by the cholo members in the usa to have this new title?

It was a rumour but it come pitfall.I don't understand why EXECUTIVE COMMITEE trying to use their forces to the community to use all changes whitout General Assembly Two-thirds(2/3)of vote. anyway I'm expressing the facts,and if that is a breakaway or hijacking the community it has to be made officially. I don't know what sweet to be called Mr. president instead of Coordinator,changing the Constitution,in my life I never heard constitution should be changed it has to be amends. Now Collo you are the ones that bring this pitfall into peaceful community coordinating.

Yes! you may not be aware of the addition made to: Pashodo Community Mutual Assistance Association (PCMAA). May be you didn't attend last year July 4th, 2007 annual conference that was held in Kansas City - MO or the last two coordination council & Executive Committee meetings in Kansas City and Iowa. The two words (MUTUAL ASSISTANCE)were added and agreed by both EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE & THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY for benefit of our Collo community in USA. Hope I did answer your questions. If not, and still needs more clarification Re: The addition words, your highly welcome to July 4th, 2008 annual conference in Nashville - Tennessee. That's coming up in two weeks.

They continue to mislead Collo that two communities are same while they are not same. How can these two communities be same, if they have different names, different constitutions and different registrations in two different states, Iowa and Utah? This leadership have changed the name of Collo community, wrote their own constitution, and the new registration in state Iowa without the mandate from the Collo community. I am writting today to tell you that I am really had been disturbed by what had been posted here by some of you. Yes brother M. Akol had brought up some of the realities which have been going on in the community for a long time with out being address by the leaders who have been in the office. 1- some called themself members of the community and NEVER fill out membership form one day. 2-
some have NEVER paid one time thier dues and still think they are a members of this community and the worse of this acts is that this bad one are elected into the executive office.
I want to come to the point. We people of Collo had sufferd enough and have been victims of other we should not be vivtims of ourself. The allegation and conflict and divison which we are hearing today in the community need to be address by all Collo educated and intellectuals in all over USA and it will be much better if we can include UK, Austarlia and Europe through telephone confernce these is inorder to treat the matter with responsibility. I don't have problem people emphasises thier opoinons however, we most know at the this time we got top priority in which ever single Collo knew what I means. Please know that no fighting over the net we need heathly discussion about the community constitation and how we can form our strategy for our people bennfits.

I recommend that the NAME OF COMMUNITY REMAIN AS KNOWN ( Pashodo Community Association USA) till these all Collo conference or workshop take place in three months from now, with my believe that Mr. Jalapan Kiir, Chairperson with his office will take this suggestion. My hope is to see all those who been writting about this issue in Nashville,TN. Please come and be a eyewitness I been participating for 8 years now since I moved to US and become a member of Collo Community. where is the Gernal secretary and the secretary for Information and Public Relation, Secretary for Culture and Social Affairs. It will not be good for some body to do somebody job while they are there!!

Parallel registerationof the association in different location under different names.Dear all the following is a letter from: undersigned members of the Pashodo community association. to honorable executive committeeof the Pashodo community association.Dear Sirs, we have observed with dismay that our community association has been registeredin Utah and Iowa and under different names.This parallel action definitly has serious legal and organiztional repercssion.we therefore beg to requestyour esteemed committee to include this item on the agenda ofthe general assembly meeting scheduled for July 4th,2008 in Tennessee for deliberation. Dear Members, thank you for your recent letter, which was directed to the attention of association's executive committee. After careful consideration, we would like to point out the follows:1-Registeration of the association under the new name in state of Iowa was a legitimate action.Taken by executive committee.we have acted in good faith,in reliance upon the representations of coorddination council and general assembly. We have also relied on public pronouncements.2-We rejected the notions that we cause confusion in the community. However, the great deals of confusion were caused by individual's members. therefore, these allegation should be directed to them.3-Sorry, we are unable to include your request in upcoming meeting Agenda in July 2008, because the Agenda already has been setup, also the executive yearly report for general assembly consist all the activities of executive committee. however, this decision dosen't purports to deny your rights as active members to raise deliberate or question the executive committee on other business or open discussion before general assembly.
4-We as Executive Committee of (PCMAA) decided that, our priorities for upcoming July 2008 meeting is to cover all points clearly and carefully to the general assembly without any off agenda interruption.

Pashodo Community Annual Conference (USA).
Dear members these are some tips that you may need to the conference of pashodo Community Mutual Assistance Association,in Nashville Tennessee in two day to come (July 4,2008). In July 2007 Collo met in Kansas City as they do yearly, there was no constitution discussed in that meeting. The meeting was concluded with election of the new executive committee, after election it is a responsibility of the elected members to form their office immediately and to be announcing to the general assembly in the following day at cultural gathering. That where people were surprised with this new name!!! when the new chairman of the association came out with the formation of his office under different name,it was truly a surprise to people yet active members of the association did not closed their eyes on that changes but there was hot discussion on that issue.

From my experience as first coordinator for pashodo community Association (USA),
When it was formed in september 1999, name of the community was parreben community, but there were voices calling for name change, We put the request on our agenda for annual conference july 2002, more than 4four name were brought up in that meeting amoung them was pashodo community Association that won the highest votes and this is the way name pashodo Community Association came into existing.

Coming into the separate general assembly meeting (Iowa,Kansas City) that being using to justify name change, that two states meetings can not give this executive Wright to change the name of the community because there are more than 40 States that did not participated in those two meetings.

So,if this office is acting in good faith I think it is time for them to give hears to the cry of the people, we are just after our unity as one of our objectives,reference to article #4.4 of the pashodo Community Association bylaws that says, Discourages activities that seem to disintegrate the unity of our people.
