Reminder:Ordination to the sacred order of the permanent diaconate

Dear All,

As I have invited all of you before for my ordination to the sacred order of the permanent diaconate on the 14th of August 2010, I would like to remind you that the ordination will take place on time at this address:

St. Ambrose Cathedral 6th& High Street Des Moines, Iowa,50309

Please call Regina Nyalm Nyikang (515-669-8656) or Vivian Francis Chan(515-822-6622) when you arrive so that you can be assisted.

NB: For your information his lordship Bishop Vincent Mojwok Nyiker Awol at the last minutes of his leaving Sudan to USA had been advised by his Doctor not to take long distance travel to USA. His lordship is very sorry of not being able to attend ordination one of the fruits of his hands. I asked for your forgiveness and your prayers for me at this moment. Peace

Francis Chan

    Brother Francis.

I was absolutely thrilled when you first informed me three months ago,of your ordinance to be a deacon.
This is indeed the day when your relatives ,colleagues and good friends should be around to congratulate and show solidairty with you for your well worked achievement.
Me in person would have loved to attend this colourfull event. I have just
been near to the States in Canada a week ago. However becuase of my busy schedules. I had to come to London to proceed to Pretoria for an urgent diplomatic course,in line with my present assignment.
I have how ever asked my wife ,Mrs.A.A. Okiech to be at your ordination. She is already in the States and should be able to attend with her sisters already there.
We pray to our Good Lord that all will end up well.

    Congratulations in advance.
    Dr othol

That's a wonderful event to happen to one of our brothers. I hope he in his turn will bring, facilitate and encourage others to follow his footstep. I wish him a successful life in his new status.
