Nyaba’s Response To Response.

H.E. prof. Dr. Peter Adwok Nyaba the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research whose response to my article was rather evasive or an entry to launch an attack on the person of Dr. Lam, who will defend himself better than my self.
But the pertinent question remains; Is it not a scourge earth war that is going on in the Collo land, and is it justified to fight the alleged militia by killing of the innocent people? Is it not possible to protect the people and hunt down the alleged militia?. Are the militia living in the houses of the poor people to necessitate burning down the houses ? I am very aware that you are in picture of what is taking place in Collo land since you withdrew your candidacy from running as an independent SPLM break away candidate.
After you opened the eyes of the people with the article about Padang plan to take over the Collo land, many had approached you about the article persuading you to stop writing and since then you had casted your lots with the retreating lot for reasons quite obvious to many among which your sure anticipated failure in elections. Other reasons remain to be desired.
My namesake asked me this question “ Is it possible or rather permissible to engage in legal political work [registering a political party, conducting congresses, participating in parliamentary and presidential elections, etc.] alongside conducting illegal political actions [maintaining tribal militia in the Chollo Kingdom, having a parallel and invisible government structure: commissioners, police and security officers some of them still in the SPLA, Southern Sudan Police Service, National Security and Intelligence Service, Wildlife, Prisons and Fire fighters]; Can insurgents operate in the same terrain as the standing army and expect things to remain normal and peaceful? The SPLM-DC can’t operate doubly as an insurgent as well as a legitimate political party engaged in legality. Remember that ‘democracy’ and ‘illegality’ have never shared one bed” The simple answer is that neither democracy and illegality nor possible/ permissible to engaged in illegal work to share one bed. Thus all the contradictory collective activities you narrated above will not go un notice by all people or law firms. Thus your question is irrelevant and will not hold water.
The argument by Dr. Nyaba is to smear the name of SPLM-DC and expire the hot air of sweeping support of SPLM-DC by Collo people and indeed all southerners. What you and every body knows in the south is the clear rigging of April elections by SPLM/A as attested to by international community with evidences. The 93% scored by Salva was clear rigging by SPLM/A. This is going to hound you for long. Those independent SPLM candidates who stood their ground, stand a better chance to command respect among the people of south Sudan than those cawed down by ingredients of livelihood. Since the SPLM-DC became the hanging stick for the SPLM to hang their dirty linins, I want to ask my namesake these straight questions; What did you do when Salva Kiir decreed establishment of ‘Piji’ county on Collo territory? Was that to anger the SPLM-DC’s alleged militia? What sort of democracy in which deputies of a party can be jailed without clear verdict in court?
The a cephalous Jieng has the banydit or still 1st Lt. Gen. who can easily rule a territory. This is not the issue, The issue is what did you put forward for resolving Collo lands being grabbed and you maintain your ministerial seats “The Padang-Dinka aggression and lust for Chollo land can’t be resolved by the methods adopted by Dr. Lam Akol and his SPLM-DC which neatly fits into the schemes of the Islamists and northern colonialists to prevent the logical conclusion of the CPA implementation” Colonialism has no color as put by Dr. John Garang. The southern colonialists are abounding, and underpinning the atrocities suffered by Collo people to SPLM-DC, is rationalization by the professor to downplay their heaps of mistakes, as if George Athor, Cobra, Galwak Gai had been made to rebel by SPLM-DC.

Nothing deters me from expressing my opinion and yes I solicited many detractors and sometimes outright enemies. Dr. Peter Adwok Otto, my namesake, please don't ever make the mistake to believe that because I am government I could be 'cowed down by ingredients of livelihood'. You were one time a Minister in the so-called the Southern Sudan Coordination Council, the precursor of GOSS, while the war was raging including the burning down of the Chollo villages from papwojo in the south to padiet in the north. I believe what you could have done then, which you unfortunately didn't do, was to protest or resign. You will agree with me that sometimes more proactive stance need to be taken in the interest of the people. This precisely what we have been doing. I am delighted to see how you response to those disgruntle boys. Indeed I have seen Dr Peter Adwok , while he was a ministry during the days when NCP was slaughtering his people. Thanks for your posting. I expected to meet you in Khartoum when you came to Sudan recently. Of course I followed from your writings in the website Yirumadi. Now I understand why you couldn’t even make a courtesy call on me. That was unfortunate because I thought we could have exchanged views on the situation rather than engaging in lengthy letters on the website.
I read your piece and came to the conclusion that you did not understand me well and therefore you started to raise issues quite irrelevant to what I said in rebuttal piece to the postings of Dr. Peter Adwok Otto. If you are asking about my contribution to the resolution of the Padang-Dinka and Chollo over the land, yes I have raised the matter where it, and with people that, mattered. Nominal educational minister, Dr. Naba, your warning that failure of Dr. Lam Akol to win the presidential April election will bring an attack on southerners is baseless because extermination of Collo people doesn’t begin after election, but it is the execution of Dinka policy you yourself have wrote about before election. The execution was begun in Anakdiar and Abanimo. After those incidents, Collo intellectuals and ordinary people have raised question of how to protect their land from aggressive Dinka. Letters were written to Upper Nile state governor, unity government and GOSS urging leaders to end Dinka brutality. Dr. Naba that was a time when fire bottom was ignited by relatives of Collo victims. In addition, more than 300 SPLM members broke away and ran as independents, and one of them George Athor is SPLA enemy today; therefore, not the failure of Dr. Lam to win presidential election that inflicted more mortal grievances. Brother William Okuck, i really admired your argument in regards to the disturbing and intentional war wage on collo community , just because of Dr.lam and his new political party ( SPLM-DC) according to the context of Dr peter Adwok Nyaba article dated 9/july in southsudannation website, When you read and understand that article well, you will find all the content of the article is about Dr lam and SPLM-DC.if it's true that the SPLM/A is waging that war against Dr lam, then what is the reason of raping, killing,displacing the innocent civillies and burning down their villages? and if then that is the scenario that who ever disagree with SPLM/A policies, is automatically counted as an enemy and his tribe men are liable to pay the price of their son's political view or direction then why should the same scenario didn't occur in khorfulus the home town of renagate spla George Athor? It is a complete pity that ignorance have blindfolded you guys from understanding the article of Dr Nyaba. Jwokthob Wanh , Wiliam Okuk and Stephen Pityh you guys need to take some English classes to at least understand what professor Dr Nyab is convey to your primitive minds. This empty beating of war drums you guys are stirring will not help the course of Chollo. You think if all the Dinks were stupid like you guys to wage a all front war with Chollo , then Chollo land will be preserve. For God seek reread what Dr Nyaba had mention about Land so you don’t have to lose one single live for nonsense.
Your article is very objective and informative. But the problem of Prof. Dr Peter Nyaba is Dr. Lam. He thinks and article posted on the net was written by Dr. Lam. Prof Dr. Peter Nyaba is not yet satisfy with his current position. He should be a busy person in his ministry instead of washing out for Dr. Lam. You can critize the bible when you are not a Christain. Equally the same you can not critize SPLM-DC when you are not a member of SPLM-DC and the same goes with SPLM.
