Sudan?s FM denies involvement in action to dismember the SPLM in Upper Nile

Feb 28, 2007 (KHARTOUM) Sudan FM Dr Lam Akol has dismissed reports alleging that he is under investigation by the Sudan People?s Liberation Movement (SPLM) leadership.

In a press statement issued yesterday, the Sudanese Foreign minister and senior SPLM member denied report saying that First Vice President and president of the SPLM had formed a committee to probe his involvement in a political movement hindering the SPLM activities in Upper Nile State.

United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) News Bulletin reported that the Mass Measles campaign for Malakal County has been completed and results indicate that 61,666 (target: 51,316) children between 6 months and 15 years of age were vaccinated against Measles.
