Mubarak with Salva KiirKHARTOUM, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Cairo firmly supports for Sudan's unity, which could be attained by peace and development process in the south of the neighboring country, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak reaffirmed on Monday.

Mubarak voiced the support at a joint press conference with Salva Kiir Mayardit, Sudan's first vice president and the president of the southern Sudanese government during his visit to Juba, the capital of southern Sudan.

The Egyptian president has become the first foreign head of state visiting the region since a comprehensive peace agreement was signed between Khartoum and the then rebel Sudan People's Liberation Movement in 2005.

Speaking to the reporters, Mubarak underlined the commitment of the Egyptian government to cooperate with the southern Sudanese administration and to push forward the peace and development process in the region.

He disclosed that his meeting with Mayardit reviewed the issues of common concern as well as means of boosting the bilateral relations.

Mubarak announced that a branch of Egypt's University of Alexandria would be opened in Juba in the coming days.

Mayardit, for his part, praised the Egyptian support for Sudan in all the regional and international forums.

He affirmed that southern Sudan was open for Egyptian investors in all fields.

Mubarak arrived in the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Monday morning for his first official visit to the neighbor since he assumed power in 1981.

He revealed that in his talks with his Sudanese counterpart Omer al-Bashir after his arrival in Khartoum, the two sides discussed means of making the unity of Sudan attractive for the southern Sudanese people.

HISTORY COULD EXPLIAN ITSELF.

Lord Jesus says, "when I ws stranger, you have welcomed me".
Due to political, economical, religious, cultural and racial discriminations, illegal and legal migrations have been going on for centuries.
Muslims were presecuted by their own people who did not believe in Islam in Macca and Madina. So prophet Mahmmed had ordered the converted Muslims to flee to Ethiopia for their safety and king of Ethiopia did benevolently welcomed them.
This is indeed the moral responsiblity of every human because fugitives are defendless and deserve instantly unconditional protection.

NATIVE SUDANESE LIFE IN EGYPT
Egyptians and northern Sudanese partially say they truly love the native Sudanese, but the result of their loves is full of miseries.
Too much incentive packages were offered to attract natives Sudanese to Egypt. But they were not implement.
For example, the Sudanese refugees had camped in cold opened area in Egypt in 2005 to convey their sufferings to UNHCR hoping for solution. But Egyptian forces without considering children, sick, old, women, girls, disable and handicaps among them, had inhumanly attacked the suffering refugees, killing many of them.
Meanwhile, Sudanese refugees in other continents enjoy good care.
Where are the promises and sense of cordiality?

I urge all Sudanese to be consistent in building relationship.
Eygptian president is now in Southern Sudan carrying with him developmental program.
I can agree with him if development does comes from certain country rather than people.
But on other hand, I encourage the Southerners for independent development if development involves local investment of whatever human possesses within his water, air, and land.
Our problem is not investors, but to believe ourselves as southerners so that each one has his/her contribution in building our country.
God bless

"I am shocked and ashamed for first vice president Salva Kiir and President Hosni Mubarak when I hear that, both are talking for south Sudan developments and extending of Egyptians university of Alexandrian branch to be open in Juba.

Ashamed on Salva kiir, forgetting what Mubarak say in Egypt
“The blacks are slaves by nature"
"The blacks are inferior materially"
"The blacks are not capable of revolting"
Each of these false assumptions occurred in Egypt during our country mates, deportations to Sudan.

In this context, self-determination should be understood as a means by which People sharing distinct characteristics decide on the framework. Human changes in South Sudan are not only suggested in associations with Arabs. Mr. Mubarak is lobbing for what will not make Egyptians suffer, if south separates from northerners. And the Logic is only sources of Nile.

Yes, brothers Nya-opun Aban Aban and William Okuch, I agree with you. We may trust some devils to a certain percent but not Egyptian Government. Somebody who knows Egypt will laugh when they fool H.E Excellency Mayardit that Egypt with sustain peace and bring development to Southern Sudan. What resources does Egypt has to help Southern Sudan if Egypt is being help by Americans to get a subsidized wheat flour every year. For God sake, how can a poor country claims to help another poor country. To hell with lies from Egyptian Government and their hunger for Nile Water and Sudd Region of Southern Sudan. South Sudan will be the one to help Egypt in future but not vice versa.

Infect politic is very fixable and difficult to be comprehend, our president is playing a political game like any other head of states but it does not meant when meeting El Mubarak he is betraying Southerns. Secondly, Mr. Mayardit is the first vice president and the president of the GOSS so it a bit tedious to act likes any ordinary person. I know Egyptian sprayed our brothers with cool water to death this a paining issue but politically we will share with them a plate while knowing our interest.
